Alana Muriel, Intern

I am a counseling intern who enjoys working with individuals across the lifespan. I have experience working with anxiety, depression, ADHD, relationship issues, identity challenges, and chronic illness.  I strive to create a safe, supportive, and affirming counseling environment where individuals can feel free to be themselves and explore what matters most to them. I enjoy integrating mindfulness techniques into therapy. 

I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.  As an artist and musician, I enjoy helping others with challenges such as performance anxiety, imposter syndrome, and other topics related to creativity and performance. 

Outside the counseling room, I like to relax with family and friends, create music and art, read, and spend time in nature.  I would be honored to work with you.
