Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
Lombard, IL / Hybrid
Full-time
Licensure Requirements
We are currently seeking applicants for a full-time licensed professional counselor (LPC). If you are interested in this positions but are not currently licensed, we require that you obtain your licensure within the first 6-months of joining the practice.
Job Description
At the LPC level of licensure, clinicians are supported through our LPC professional development program. We support our staff at this level as they progress from graduation toward independent licensure. Clinicians receive one-hour of weekly individual supervision with their primary supervisor. They receive as-needed consultation and support from an assigned mentor at the practice. Clinicians at this level are required to participate in one-hour of weekly group supervision with all other supervised staff. Clinicians also participate in one-hour of weekly clinical staff meetings. Clinical staff meetings provide opportunities for case consultation, seminar and didactic training, and continuing education on a rotating basis.
During your time in the professional development program at our practice, we will guide you through the ADHD-CCSP certification process, provide additional and specific training on other neurodivergent diagnoses, establish a foundational understanding of human development across the lifespan, and ensure your multicultural competence. By the end of your time in the professional development program, you will engage in our Leadership Development group. These additional supports will prepare LPCs for the transition into independent licensure and continued development within the practice.
