Staff Clinician

Hello, hello! My name is Xiya Akande-Williams, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, life transitions, and self-esteem challenges, and I’m especially passionate about supporting adolescents and children. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can show up as they are.

If clients are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply seeking deeper self-understanding, healing is possible, and I would love to provide support. I proudly hold space for BIPOC and LGBTQ+ individuals and honor each client’s lived experience with care and respect.

I enjoy working alongside clients from a Person-Centered lens with integration of CBT, DBT, and Mindfulness to support a client’s emotional journey holistically.

When not in the office, I enjoy live musical performances, quality time with loved ones, and video games!
