Lotus Bloom Psychology is a busy and growing private practice. We specialize in diagnosing and supporting people with ADHD, Autism and learning differences. We also treat co-occurring conditions such as anxiety disorders, depression, eating disorders, substance use, family conflict, trauma, grief, and education-related stress or work-related stress. We work with a diverse population of clients across the lifespan.

We currently provide diagnostic assessment, individual therapy, group therapy, and family support. We offer focused neuropsychological assessments that aid our differential diagnosis process. Our clinicians come from a variety of training backgrounds and use dynamic, feminist, relational, cognitive, and strength-based approaches. We implement interventions informed by theory and research. We practice mindfulness techniques and teach executive functioning skills. Our goals are to improve relationships and empower families. ​

Lotus Bloom Psychology has positions open for part-time and full-time clinicians. Our ideal candidate is a licensed, or license-eligible, professional in the state of Illinois (or PsyPact). Post-doctoral candidates are welcome to apply. Our ideal candidate has completed a doctorate or masters degree in clinical psychology, counseling psychology, or marriage and family therapy. The position is flexible and completely virtual. Weekly supervision is provided during the first year of employment. Weekly all-staff meetings focus on group consultation, continuing education, networking, practice updates, and collaborative round table discussions related to practice operations. Supervision and mentoring will prioritize self-care, time management strategies, professional growth, and community connection. EMPLOYMENT
Lotus Bloom Psychology welcomes licensed and license eligible clinicians to apply. We can provide supervision for clinicians needing supervisory hours. We are looking to hire clinicians who provide therapy and assessment services. We have a waitlist and need to place clients quickly.

License Types: Licensed Clinical Psychologist (LCP), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).

Our positions offer flexible hours, as well as both virtual and in-person work. Full-time positions are required to provide a minimum of 20 clinical hours per week. All full-time clinicians are required to offer appointments after 3:00pm at least one evening per week, or offer Saturday availability.

Upon joining our practice, we provide one week of on-boarding and orientation. We sponsor your completion of an ADHD Certification course upon joining our staff. Weekly individual supervision and weekly group supervision are provided. Our weekly one-hour staff meeting rotates its purpose. During our staff meetings we focus on case consultation, clinical seminar, didactic training, and group supervision each on a monthly rotation. We have four quarterly in-person all-staff meetings per year.

Supervision and mentoring prioritize growth in the following areas: clinical skills, diagnostic skills, diversity/equity/inclusion, professional consultation, leadership, supervision/mentorship, time management, self-care, and professional growth.

Location and Operations:
Our practice currently operates in two locations. Office hours in both locations are 8:00am to 8:00pm Monday through Friday, and Saturday 8:00am to 4:00pm. Clinicians are not permitted to work outside of office hours. Each clinician creates their own availability to see clients within these operational hours.
Our Lombard location provides both in-person and online services. The Lombard location provides a shared office space in the heart of downtown Lombard, accessible off the UP-West Metra line. There are multiple restaurants, coffee shops, and other local businesses located within downtown Lombard. The shared office space is located on the second floor or a walk-up building, with free parking. Our office is flooded by sunlight with South-facing windows. In each private office space, we supply a standing desk, monitor, detached camera, mouse, and cordless headphones. These technologies stay at the office and are available for clinicians working at the Lombard office location. The space also provides a waiting room and restroom. The practice supplies drinking water and light snacks, as well as a meal-prep space. Therapy tools and marketing materials are available for clinicians to use.

Our Naperville office continues to operate in a completely online format.

Compensation and Benefits:

Our intake team handles all incoming cases and we match clients with clinicians. This ensures a good fit for both parties. We have seen a superior retention rate among our clients and attribute our matching process to this statistic at our practice.

Staff are provided opportunities to participate in diagnostic evaluations, mentorship/supervision, collaboration with other area providers, community outreach, development of community presentations, and participation in the growth of our professional network. Each clinician can determine how much or how little they would like to be involved in these activities at the practice.

TRAINING
Lotus Bloom Psychology welcomes practicum and internship students to complete their training at our site. Our ideal candidate has completed their coursework in clinical psychology or counseling psychology at an APA/ACA approved institution. The position is flexible and offers both virtual and in-person opportunities. Weekly individual supervision and weekly group case consultation is provided. Supervision and mentoring will prioritize growth in the following areas: clinical skills, diagnostic skills, diversity/equity/inclusion, professional consultation, time management, self-care, and preparation for licensure.
All of our team members are provided with their own HIPPA compliant EMR, phone number, and email address. Students are provided opportunities to participate in direct observation, individual therapy services, group therapy services, diagnostic evaluations, peer mentorship, collaboration with other area providers, development of community presentations, and participation in the growth of our professional network. Students are welcome to apply for employee positions following the completion of their degree.
