Professional Summary

I am Dr. Ashley Houchin, a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and the founder of Lotus Bloom Psychology. My journey has always been guided by a clear mission: to provide high-quality, patient-centered care, particularly for the ADHD community. My academic path led me from Baker University, Kansas, where I graduated in 2009, to the Illinois School of Professional Psychology, Chicago, where I completed my studies in 2015.

The story of Lotus Bloom Psychology began in 2021, when I launched it as a solo practice. However, my professional experience, coupled with personal connections to ADHD through multiple family members and friends, quickly illuminated a critical need for services specifically designed to better support this community. This insight fueled my vision for growth, and by 2023, I began expanding, hiring additional staff to meet the increasing demand.

Over the past decade, my training and professional experience have deepened my understanding of the neurodivergent brain and its co-occurring conditions. My approach is rooted in a relational and developmental lens, meaning I always consider an individual's unique context alongside their presenting concerns. Beyond the day-to-day operations of the practice, a significant part of my passion lies in fostering the professional development of clinicians who are dedicated to helping people with ADHD not just cope, but truly thrive. Looking ahead, I am committed to creating even more resources and support within the community.

It is with immense pride that I lead a team of professionals who share my unwavering passion for supporting the neurodivergent community. Together, we are building a practice that not only offers exceptional care but also champions understanding and growth.​
