Frequently Asked Questions
1 / Is the 15-minute consultation really free?
Yes. This consultation is completely free and offered as a way to help you understand your options before deciding whether to move forward.
2 / What happens during the consultation?
You’ll have a brief, supportive conversation with a member of our Intake Team. We’ll listen to your concerns, answer questions, and explain possible next steps. We'll also check your benefits coverage, discuss payment options, and match you to a clinician. This is an informational call — not a therapy session or evaluation.
3 / Do I have to schedule services after the consultation?
Not at all. There is no obligation to book therapy or testing. The purpose of this call is to help you decide what you’d like to do next — if anything.
4 / Who is the consultation for?
This consultation is helpful for adults, parents, and caregivers who have questions about therapy, psychological testing, ADHD, autism, learning differences, or emotional or behavioral concerns. It's a unique service we offer to help ensure you feel comfortable with the path you take.
5 / Is the consultation confidential?
Yes. All consultations are confidential and handled with care, just as our clinical services are.
6 / Will we discuss insurance and payment options?
Yes. We can review insurance participation, self-pay options, and answer billing questions during the call.
7 / Is the consultation a call or a video?
We'll send you a link and you can choose to participate via phone or video through your computer or smart device.
8 / What if I don't know what I'm looking for?
That’s completely okay. Many people schedule a consultation because they feel unsure or overwhelmed. You don’t need to have the “right” words — we’ll help guide the conversation.
9 / What happens after the consultation?
If you choose to move forward, we’ll help match you with the appropriate clinician and explain scheduling options. If you decide not to continue, there’s no pressure or follow-up required.
10 / Where are services provided?

Our convenient Lombard location serves clients throughout the west Chicago suburbs including Lombard, Naperville, Downers Grove, Glen Ellyn, Villa Park, Addison, Wheaton, and more.
Because we have no waitlist, we also serve Illinois families seeking testing services who are willing to travel further to eliminate long waiting periods.
