About Our Evaluations

We offer evidence-based assessments that lead to accurate diagnoses and personalized recommendations in a compassionate, inclusive environment. Our evaluations are neurodivergent-informed, and we specialize in helping distinguish ADHD and Autism from other factors that may affect learning, attention, or behavior.

What is neuropsychological testing?

Neuropsychological testing is a way to better understand how your brain works and how it may be affecting your daily life. Through a series of questions, activities, and assessments, our clinicians can uncover your child's unique strengths and challenges. This kind of testing can provide clarity, guide treatment, and help them get the right support.

We offer testing for:

  • ADHD

  • Autism

  • Learning disabilities

  • Dyslexia

  • OCD

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

  • Trauma

This is not a comprehensive list. Our evaluations are designed to get to the root cause of symptoms and empower your family to take the best path forward.

2 / Are consultations online or in-person?

Your 15-minute consultation is done virtually, either through a virtual meeting or via phone, whichever works best for you.

3 / What insurance do you accept?

5 / How should I prepare for my consultation?

Once scheduled, you’ll be asked to complete our online paperwork and upload your child's insurance information through our secure client portal. You'll be able to manage the portal from your own log-in, giving you the opportunity to add your contact information for appointment reminders and other messages.

It's important to add your child's information to the client portal prior to our consultation so we can review your coverage and payment options.

6 / Why start with a consultation?

No pressure, no cost … just clarity. This is your chance to ask questions before you commit and get personalized guidance.

7 / What does the assessment look like?

During the assessment process your child will complete a series of cognitive and neuropsychological tests in order to clarify the root of their distress.  Our process is streamlined and some portions of the assessment are completed online. However, most of the time, children must complete testing in-person at our Lombard office location.

8 / How long does testing take?

Typically, the entire process takes 2-5 appointments.

The first appointment is just to collect information about your child's developmental history.

The administration of tests can take between one and three appointments to complete. Each appointment is between two to three hours in duration.

The last appointment is to share evaluation results. We provide a formal explanation of your child's diagnosis and a list of personalized recommendations.

We aim to complete the entire process, from first to last appointment, within six weeks. This is not a guarantee but a goal.
