The Testing Process
Testing begins with an intake interview to understand your concerns and your child’s history, followed by individualized testing sessions based on your child’s needs. Once testing is complete, we meet for a feedback session to review the results and recommendations, and you will receive a detailed written report. Recommendations often include school supports, accommodations, and therapy recommendations when appropriate.

After the evaluation, you will receive a clear explanation of the results, a detailed written report, and specific recommendations for home, school, and any additional supports that may be helpful. Children's Psychological Testing FAQs
The number of sessions needed for a diagnostic evaluation can vary depending on your unique needs, which we’ll discuss during your child's intake. Typically, administering tests takes 2-3 appointments to complete. Each appointment is between 2-3 hours in duration.
Because of the thoughtful analysis and number of appointments involved, it can take up to six weeks for final results to be completed.
If you’re using insurance, your exact cost will depend on your plan and coverage details. We bill for all services provided, and costs may vary based on the type of evaluation or therapy you receive. If you’re paying out of pocket, we outline our fees here.
